Have you ever been in a wardrobe slump? Always scrambling to find something to wear? Well, I’m here to help a sister out with these five stylish staples for your wardrobe!
You can pair them all together for one classic outfit or mix and match these items with clothing you already own to give your closet that flair it may be lacking.
Below are splurge-worthy vs budget-friendly options for these staples:
A white body-suit
Simple, elegant, and easy to throw on with just about anything. Pair it with a silk skirt and pumps or denim shorts and sandals there are endless ways to wear a white bodysuit. I personally wouldn’t invest in a super expensive white anything because they usually wear out within one-two seasons of wear. I found my favorite one pictured above at Marshall’s for $8 ladies, yes that’s right $8!
Black leather bag
I mean what is more classic than a black leather bag? I love my Chloe satchel and although I don’t wear it enough, I’m forever grateful to have this in my collection. If you’re going to invest in one item out of these five make it this one. Since the cost per wear is high.
Black leather pumps
The best investment your feet will ever make are these Manolo Blahnik BB pumps. They’re incredibly comfortable, timeless, and effortless. A simple black pump can be paired with jeans for a night out or with a skirt for the office. However, you wear it it’s a closet must-have!
Straight leg jeans
They’re so on-trend right now and I’m here for it! Not gonna lie it was a little out of my comfort zone but after learning a couple of ways to style them, I was able to make them fit seamlessly into my wardrobe. Pair them with a bodysuit and mules for a chic look or throw on a cropped tee and slip-on sneakers for a more casual look.
A leather jacket
The best way to spruce up an outfit is with a leather jacket. I love wearing mine over a summer dress or with jeans and a tank. It’s great for a night out or traveling so it’s definitely a must for every closet!
