Tailored Pieces
We’ve seen this trend pop up throughout the years, but it’s all about tailored pieces this season. I’m talking pleated pants, oversized blazers, and vest galore. Yes, the more tailored the better. You can mix this menswear trend with a sweater dress paired with a plaid blazer. As seen in the photo to the left, you can complete the look with a lug sole bootie to really elevate the game. Top it off with a beret and you are good to go! Or don a plaid skort with over-the-knee boots and a neutral sweater. Either way, you chose, this is a great way to style this trend.

Primary Colors + Saturated Shades
There were tons of color play walking down that runway for Fall 2021. And after the year we went through, we could all use a little more color in our lives. I’m very much here for this trend! You can easily wear it by adding a pop of color with your shoes, buying a fun colored blazer, or going for a full monochromatic look. Either avenue you choose will add a little brightness to your day! Sharing my picks below:
Jewel Tones + Metallics
Much like the 1920s, people are itching for a little glamour in their lives after the nightmare of 2020. Cue the Roaring 20’s motif. Designers donned flapper-esque looks, sequin midi dresses, metallic pieces, and sparkle details on accessories. You can take this look to the streets with a jewel-toned dress, leather leggings, and over-the-knee boots. Or opt for a date night look by adding metallic heels to your dress.
I have an entire blog post dedicated to my tried and true Stuart Weitzman Over The Knee Boots. If you’re on the fence GIVE THIS A READ!

Denim, Denim, Denim
I have seen no shortage of denim on denim looks while shopping for fall. Straight Leg Jeans seem to be the cut of choice this season. With snippets of 90’s grunge, wide-leg jeans, and denim jumpsuits! Oh my! Either way picking up a great fitting pair of jeans is always a good idea. I’ve written an entire blog post on “The Best Straight-Leg Denim” so check that post out as well! Finally, in the photo above I paired a denim dress with my all-time favorite booties.

Apres Ski Patterns + Puff Jackets
But make it FASHUUUN! Think mountain-lodge chic, that is the easiest way for me to describe this fall 2021 fashion trend. Lots of crewneck printed sweaters, cozy knits, puffer jackets, and a huge blanket-like coat to throw on top! Not only is this trend for the mountains we’re taking it to the streets this season! Sharing my picks below:
Matching Sets
If it’s wrong to have matching sets still on-trend, then I don’t want to be right! There is a multitude of ways you can wear this trend. Whether it be a comfortable casual look with a knit set, or a cropped blazer and mini skirt it’s becoming a classic! There are so many cute sets on the market and I’m sharing my favorites with you below:
Vintage Sneakers
The sneaker trend has been around for quite some time. Quite honestly, I’m hoping it never goes away because comfort is my middle name. This fall season it’s all about a little platform, dad sneakers, and vintage-looking sneakers. I’m sharing my top picks below to wear this trend:
Western Boots
Giddy up cowgirls! We saw cowgirl hats make a comeback this summer. But this fall it’s all about the western-style boots. Whether it is tall classic cowgirl boots, western booties, or even clogs (not technically western but it felt appropriate in this category?). Sharing all my favorite ways to wear this trend below:
Lug Sole Boots
Another shoe trend that is here to stay since last year. We saw lug soles dominate the market last fall/winter and this trend is here to stay! Whether it be pull-on Chelsea style lug boots, knee-high lug boots, or lace-up booties. I’m sharing my favorites to shop this season:
