Tailored Pieces
We’ve seen this trend pop up throughout the years, but it’s all about tailored pieces this season. I’m talking tailored wide-leg pants pants, oversized blazers, and vests galore. Yes, the more tailored the better. You can mix this menswear trend with a sweater dress paired with a plaid blazer. As seen in the photo to the left, you can complete the look with a lug sole bootie to really elevate the game. Top it off with a beret and you are good to go! Finally, you can don a plaid skort with over-the-knee boots and a neutral sweater. The Frankie Shop does this trend right, however, the pieces are a bit pricey. Either way, you chose, this is a great way to style this trend.
Here are my favorite tailored pieces below:
Leather / Vegan Leather
Back by popular demand the leather trend is here to stay! Whether you choose to don a classic leather jacket, vegan leather trousers paired with a bodysuit or pick up a fun leather puffer you can’t go wrong with a new leather piece. It’s an easy way to make any outfit pop this season!
Jewel Tones + Metallics
Much like the 1920s, people are itching for a little glamour in their lives this past year. Cue the pops of color and jewel tones trend. You can take this look to the streets with a jewel-toned dress, leather leggings, and over-the-knee boots. Or opt for a date night look by adding metallic heels to your dress.
I have an entire blog post dedicated to my tried and true Stuart Weitzman Over The Knee Boots. If you’re on the fence GIVE THIS A READ!

Denim, Denim, Denim
I have seen no shortage of denim on denim looks while shopping for fall. Straight Leg Jeans seem to be the cut of choice this season. Our beloved skinny jeans may be making a comeback as well. But instead of a cigarette leg opt for this trendy split hem pair. Along with that snippets of 90’s grunge, wide-leg jeans, and denim jumpsuits. Either way picking up a great-fitting pair of jeans is always a good idea. I’ve written an entire blog post on “The Best Straight-Leg Denim” so check that post out as well. Finally, in the photo above I paired a denim dress with my all-time favorite booties.

Matching Sets
If it’s wrong to have matching sets still on trend, then I don’t want to be right! There is a multitude of ways you can wear this trend. Whether it be a comfortable casual look with a knit set, or a cropped blazer and mini skirt it’s becoming a classic! A great way to elevate a matching knit set would be to pair them with acetate sunglasses and lug sole loafers. Finally, I’m sharing my favorites with you below:
Corduroy
But make it FASHUUUN! Think mountain-lodge chic, that is the easiest way for me to describe this fall 2022 fashion trend. An easy way to wear this trend is to purchase a corduroy shacket. Pair it with straight-leg pants and a bodysuit. It’s amazing to see the resurgence of corduroy this year. Sharing my picks below:
Trench Coats
You can never go wrong with a classic trench coat! It’s a wardrobe staple if I’ve ever seen it. Pair your trench with a good-fitting pair of straight-leg jeans, booties, and a button-down and you’ve got yourself a classic fall look. Finally, to make this outfit elevated pair it with lug sole loafers.
Lug Sole Boots + Booties
Another shoe trend that is here to stay. We saw lug soles dominate the market last fall/winter and this trend a good one! Not only that but I personally have multiple pairs and can attest to their comfortability. Whether it be pull-on Chelsea style lug boots, knee-high lug boots, or lace-up booties. I’m sharing my favorites to shop this season:
Vintage Sneakers
The sneaker trend has been around for quite some time. Honestly, I’m hoping it never goes away because comfort is my middle name. This fall season it’s all about court shoes, dad sneakers, and vintage trainers. I’m sharing my top picks below to wear this trend:
Western Boots
Giddy up cowgirls! We saw cowgirl hats make a comeback this summer. But this fall it’s all about the western-style boots. Whether it is tall classic cowgirl boots, western ankle boots, or even the uber trendy Birkenstock clogs (not technically western but it felt appropriate in this category?).
