The pool at the resort is ok however I included it in this list due to the proximity of the bay and private beach.

The only place in San Diego that does this as it mimics a European beach club. The hotel had a major glow-up and recently underwent a 30 million restoration by Consortium Holdings. A famous restaurant group in San Diego. It reopened in July of 2023 and has the most unique and over-the-top interior. The pool bar feels like a tropical oasis. There are tons of other amenities to indulge in in the new Lafayette including a bowling alley bar. This stay is perfect for young couples and those looking for a more unique accommodation. Finally, you’re able to book a day pass. touse the pool however it’s currently at $88 per lounge chair which in my opinion, is steep. Hopefully, it will drop after high season.
North County, San Diego

You can also rent private cabanas and the poolside food is delicious (get the cobb salad!).
