Ten Skincare Product’s I Can’t Live Without

As I’ve grown older, I’ve been investing more of my money in my skincare regimen -and my skin is thanking me for it. Below you’ll find the top ten skincare products I can’t live without!

I haven’t had a chance to get Botox yet (oh it’s coming soon now that I’m 30) but thanks to these products my skin is doing a-ok. I’m pretty militant on my daily and nighttime routine and always drink plenty of water during the day to make sure my skin stays glowing!

10 skincare products

Elta MD daily moisturizer with SPF

The holy grail of daily moisturizers that is dermatologist approved! This moisturizer leaves your skin protected with SPF 40 and also nourishes you for the day. I don’t leave the house without it, it’s by far my favorite skincare item on this list!

La Roche-Posay serum

Let’s be honest, we all need a little extra hydration as we get older. This serum is a great addition to your day-time routine. I always use the rule of layering creams and serums starting with the lightest first to the thickest last.

FAB Beauty Cleanser

This fragrance-free cream cleanser is so easy and gentle on your skin. I used to have many issues with breakouts but it seems as though once I switched to this cleanser, I rarely do now. It has aloe, allantoin, and glycerin as the main ingredients. It’s also vegan, cruelty-free, and gluten-free!

Foreo Luna Mini

If you don’t have a facial cleansing brush – you need one in your life. This has been a gamechanger for me when taking off makeup. The nonporous brush is bacteria resistant and draws out impurities for glowing and radiant skin, and it gently removes dead skin cells and unclogs dirt, oil and makeup residue from your pores to reveal more vibrant, even-toned skin.

Garnier Micellar Cleansing Water

It’s best to double cleanse your face when taking off makeup and this cleansing water is the first step. Dab some micellar water on a pad and wipe clean. After that, I wash my face with a little FAB Beauty Cleanser, use the Forio Luna Mini, and dab dry.

Peter Thomas Roth Retinol

If you’re going to invest in anything for your nighttime routine, make sure it’s this. I feel that once I started using Retinol my skin has this softness to it. It’s packed with Vitamin C and E and also encourages the skin’s renewal process with prime efficiency.

HEADS UP: If you use it daily, you very much need sunscreen during the day because it makes your skin much more sensitive to sunlight.

Jade Roller

You can buy them almost anywhere today. It stimulates the lymphatic system, which in turn reduces inflammation and puffiness. I love to use this after my serum in the morning and before my moisturizer. It’s also great if you want a little cooling action to throw it in the refrigerator ten minutes before use.

Ancient Indian Healing Clay

Indian healing clay has been used for centuries to beautify and refresh when used as a facial mask. It’s used in many spa treatments and is great for deep pore cleansing. I use this mask once a week and it’s so simple and easy to use and did I mention it’s like $8?! Such a STEAL!

  • Add a little apple cider vinegar and mix it up in a plastic bowl with a plastic utensil
  • Lather it on your face for 10-15 minutes or until the entire clay dries a light green
  • Wipe off gently with warm water and a washcloth

CVS Brand PM Moisturizer

That’s right, my nightly moisturizer is CVS brand and it works SPLENDIDLY. It’s a knock-off from the Cerave lotion and also a couple of bucks cheaper – but hey! It’s a great standard lotion that doesn’t cost an arm and a leg.

Paula’s Choice Skin Perfecting Exfoliant

This exfoliant is non-abrasive and only has 2% BHA liquid. This stuff will do all kinds of miracles – unclog diminished enlarged pores, exfoliate dead skin cells, smooth wrinkles, brighten, and even out skin tone. It combats redness, wrinkles, aging, enlarged pores, & blackheads. I use this after I wash my face with the FAB Cleanser in the morning.

I hope this was useful to you and are motivated to up your skincare routine! If you have any questions at all please feel free to drop a comment below! I would love to hear your thoughts if you use any of these products as well. For more of my lifestyle articles click here!
